Early 20-teens.Walked into Chase Bank. Soho. Spring Street. NYC. Tried to pull out cash. Around $34,000. All my money. In my account. Bank refused. Didn't give a reason. Freezed my account. No reason. Finally got access to any of my money over 30 days later. Even then, no reason given. It was unexpected. Ended up doing a lot of things I never planned for. Had access to other money. Was booking hotels until that money was drained. Was unable to pay rent. Unable to renew my lease. I have recovered. Mostly. Now it's my job to make sure the banks have no role in my life. True Story.
